Teacher Stabbed to Death by Partner in Cebu
A 43-year-old teacher, Melanie Lee Lastimosa of Lawaan Elementary School, was fatally stabbed by her live-in partner Katherine Arcilla Retita in Minglanilla, Cebu, after celebrating World Teachers’ Day on October 6.
Police recovered two knives used in the attack. The suspect is now detained, and the victim’s family is calling for justice.
